Trattoria Fiorentina comes to Bangkok
Realizing that there was no Florentine Trattoria in Bangkok and wanting to take this perfect opportunity to bring the celebration of life, simple yet delicious grilled meats, and handcrafted pastas to the Bangkokians, Giglio Trattoria was born.
The restaurant promises to focus on the simple, classic Tuscan cooking and food traditions with dishes like hand-rolled strands of pasta or pici in sausage and mushrooms ragu; ribollita, a soup of Tuscan bread, beans, and vegetables, a classic countryside dish. Also available are salads with Tuscan kales and olives, cold cuts, cheeses, and the Bistecca Fiorentina made from a dry-aged T-bone steak cooked over wood fire.
The restaurant team is the folks behind Appia and Peppina with the care of Chef Manuelo Pintore, former chef at La Bottega di Luca and Peppina. I’m sure we can all be certain that the dishes will live up to the expectations, if not more.
