Europe, Home of Cheese

Thailand has a love-love relationship with all things cheese. This makes it a perfect market to launch this multi-faceted new campaign to spread the word about France’s authentic and natural cheese products.
Europe, Home of Cheese campaign will run from now through 2022 to promote France’s acclaimed expertise in cheese-making across a variety of events including trade networking events, chef talks, and masterclasses conducted by Laurent Pousse at Le Cordon Bleu, and in-store tasting sessions.

Everyone is encouraged to take part in the “Rendez-vous with the Cheese from France,” which will see carefully selected cheeses made more widely available at major supermarkets country-wide.

On October 27, 2020, Cocotte Farm Roast & Eatery in Bangkok will host a trade networking event headlined by the restaurant’s head chef Jériko Van Der Wolf who has decade’s experience in the kitchen at only 27 years of age. He will share his unique perspectives on the wonders of French cheese and his insights from working closely with quality supplies.

The event will be attended by crucial foodservice professionals, buyers, and relevant media, who will have the opportunity to enjoy canapes, interactive food stations, and French cheese as their focuses paired with selected wines and other beverages.

All campaigns, events, and tastings are accompanied by the “Europe, Home of Cheese” Instagram Account @homeofcheese_th

The page is dedicated to everything cheese-related aiming to educate, entertain, and inspire followers with information about the history of French cheese, fun facts, recipes, and pairing advice for local ingredients.
There will also be contests for followers to participate with prizes or tickets to the masterclasses mentioned above at Le Cordon Bleu Dusit!

The campaign is part of the promotional program for CNIEL, which is the umbrella organization for the French dairy industry and is responsible for the promotion of French dairy products worldwide.
